My name is jeanetta Patterson, my clients refer to me as Netta or ms j. I am the owner and operator of Shades Of Beauty; welcome.
Ever since I was a child I have loved the art of hair styling. I started out with dolls and mannequins then advanced to using friends and family (ahh good times lol!!). I started to perfect my craft after graduating Wilson tech school in 2006 and I knew I wouldn't be just a hair stylist.

To gain rank and knowledge in the field I assisted and worked under and with other amazing hair stylist. Assisting, I learned the power of education, multitasking, and listening to the client. In addition to all the basics I needed to become the well rounded stylist I am today.

I am a continuing education hair stylist. I am always looking for new advancements, trends and techniques. Some of my specialties include but are not limited to natural and relaxed hair styling, extensions, special event hair and of course customized scalp/hair treatments and hair loss. I simply love what I do and I hope it continues to show through my clients .

We understand Not everyone that do hair is built to be hair stylist. That's why we maintain our education, strong communication skills, exceptional customer service and we establish personal connections with our clients.
